Whether you're preparing to step into your first supervisory role—or you're a seasoned clinician seeking to deepen your leadership—this 30-hour intensive training is designed to equip you with everything you need to supervise through a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and ethically sound lens.

Rooted in the core values of safety, trust, empowerment, and reflection, this weeklong course combines real-world scenarios, small group collaboration, legal knowledge, and personal insight to help you supervise in a way that honors both the profession and the people.

What You'll Learn:

  1. Apply core trauma-informed principles—like safety, trust, and empowerment—to supervision relationships, documentation, and session structure.

  2. Use ethical decision-making models and comply with legal requirements in Oregon, Washington, and California, while integrating cultural competence and intersectionality into your supervisory practice.

  3. Apply supervision models and tools to support supervisee growth, accountability, and clarity.

  4. Build and repair strong supervisory relationships, manage group dynamics, and navigate real-life conflict using trauma-informed strategies.

  5. Model sustainable professional practices by prioritizing supervisor self-care, addressing burnout, and building reflective sustainability plans.
